We Would like to Give You an Insight into the Setup of the X-Mas Lounge Café

First, the bakery always goes to its place on Kennedy Square, for which we need two semi-trailers with materials

Next, We Proceed with Setting up the X-Mas Lounge

For the X-Mas Lounge, we need another five semi-trailers.

You can imagine the setup just like building a house. The lounge ends up being almost 350 square meters with five water and sewage connections, about 200,000 watts of electrical connection, a complete kitchen, lighting installation, sound system, counters, draft beer technology… everything needs to be installed. This is also the reason why the setup of this large project takes about 4 weeks and almost 3500 work hours.

When the material is on site, we begin the construction, naturally starting with the substructure. It’s important that it’s precisely leveled. Of course, a structural engineer is responsible for the planning.

After installing the insulation, the ground floor and the intermediate ceiling follow

Then comes the upper floor and the terrace

As soon as the roof is finished, the interior work begins

Then comes the decoration, sound and lighting system, and basic lighting – basically all the technology

Hopefully this gives you a glimpse of the logistics behind the X-Mas Lounge Café project at the Essen Christmas Market. This is only possible with a great team of up to 25 people for the setup. We look forward to your visit at the next International Christmas Market or the Essen Winter Dream on Kennedy Square
